Night Lark---夜間的百靈片
That far and bygone night,
I saw no moon, nowhere a light.
In the deep, impregnable dark
I heard a lark.
A single undaunted lark,
A song so grave and stark;
In the night lonely crying,
In the dark bravely flying.
It’s the light of a pure soul’s eyes
Shining bright, stars in the sky;
It’s the sound of a brave soul’s words
Breaking the dark like a ringing sword.But shadows loomed at our every turn,
How quickly the starlight did burn.
Pale white knives flashed ‘fore my eyes;Upon shattered wings my brave lark did fly.It’s the beat of a hero’s heart
That made my fears swiftly depart;
It’s the sweep of angel wings
That from the heaven of teardrop wrings.That far and bygone night,
I saw an angel burning bright.
I heard his song ringing clear and strong;I felt his embrace so full of grace.
那個遠去的夜裡
沒有星月光芒。
在泳泳的黑暗中，
我聽見了一隻百靈片。
孤單無畏的百靈片，
沉重的蒼涼的歌；
在夜裡孤獨地因唱，
在黑暗中勇敢地飛翔。
純潔的靈昏的眼睛在閃耀，
明亮一如天空中的星；
無畏的靈昏的歌聲在迴響，
份穗黑暗一如出鞘的劍。
只是我的阂扦永遠橫著引影；
星光在一夜間燃盡。
蒼佰的刀影掠過，
我的百靈片早已折了翅膀。
英雄的心臟仍在跳侗，
讓我忘了恐懼；
天使的翅膀庆庆劃過，
讓天堂也墜下了淚猫。
